Thai food delivery in PH?

Does anyone know of a Thai restaurant that delivers to Prospect Heights? Seems to be a cuisine we're lacking in the nabe....

  • mango thai delivers to PH. www.mangothai.com
  • Great - thanks!

Gosh speedy service here on Daily Heights! Fab.
  • also there's a pretty decent place on fulton at vanderbilt
    thai restaurant

  • lemongrass grill on seventh ave. delivers here.

imo way better than mango, although mango has a good deal on lunch specials.
  • I'd agree with that. Lemongrass is better, but they are iffy with delivery. Some nights they will, while others they won't. I always insist on having my wife call for delivery from them. For some reason, they never say no to her.
  • Man, i ordered from Mango last night (well, actually from the online Beet menu?). The girl on the phone told me my total was $22.75, but when they came the total was over $25 and the items were a bit different than what I had ordered.
I ordered at 8:10pm, and the food didnt get here until 9:20pm. Food was cold, delivery guy was kind of a jerk too when we were surprised by the cost being more than quoted on the phone. I ordered taro rolls and got spring rolls, and the food wasn't even very good. I was really pissed too after waiting for an hour for delivery, so I really don't think I'll be ordering again.

I've been consistently underwhelmed by Mango despite trying multiple items on the menu through repeated orders from the place. Lemongrass isn't that great either, although it definitely used to be much better when it first opened. I think the quality there went way downhill once they started expanding to other locations. I've tried just about all of the local Thai places, and I haven't found a really good one yet, although I guess Mango is good enough when I really want Thai food and don't feel like going out or making it for myself.
  • The beef drunken noodle usually treats me well, but I haven't really drifted through the menu beyond that...
  • I've found Mango and Lemongrass generally disappointing and boring. And too sweet. Rice Thai Kitchen on 7th was better than average when I lived in PS but it's too far away. How can it be that we cannot get good Thai delivered round here? This must be a business opportunity.
  • I like the beef salad (though it can be a bit sweet) and the drunken noodle (though it can get a bit salty). I kinda cried when Rice opened in FG too far away for delivery to PH.
  • I second the recommendation for Fulton Thai. That is my go-to place for delivery.
  • T Thai! On Seventh and Carroll. Delish. I order from them all the time. They've got a bean curd & veggie dish for you non-meaters that is a staple in my diet. They've always been super quick on deliveries, too.
  • Lemongrass, Mango and T Thai have been consistently disappointing in multiple tries in the past few years. Long Tan is sometimes good, and delivers to me on Sterling Place
