The red onions and a diet pepsi would dissolve the cholesterol.

What you really need to kill that cholesterol is some red wine. I'm just sayin'

Maybe. Who cares? Eating cholesterol is generally not a problem.

By the way, cholesterol is the largest component of earwax. Just thought you needed to know that. -

You don't dip your q-tips in red onion juice and diet pepsi do you? -

Who's teaching you this French propaganda? -
I was born with the knowledge that red wine and cheese can cure anything. It was my father's fault!

Depending on your biology, he may have been right.
I tried an experiment not so long ago: ate mostly eggs, cheese, bacon, pork, butter, cream etc. most days for a few months, had my cholesterol etc. measured. It was low-average. Then went mostly vegetarian, cut out most fat, minimal animal fat, very little dairy and no eggs, exercised more, incidentally lost quite a lot of weight, and had my cholesterol measured. It had increased 1%. No significant change in the HDL/LDL ratios. Conclusion based on a random sample of 1: weight, diet and exercise have no effect whatsoever on those tricky-to-interpret numbers that American doctors watch so closely, at least in my case. Not to mention the twisted logic behind blockbuster cholesterol-lowering drugs. -
