Hair salon in Park Slope?

Can anyone recommend a good (not expensive) stylist? I have been travelling back to Bay Ridge for cuts/blowouts, but that's a pain and the salons near my office are quite expensive.....

depending on where you are at, Vespa Salon on 7th Ave btwn 15/16th Sts is great. Sergio, Shlome and Elaine are great.

And funny enough, Sergio used to have the biz in Bay Ridge years back, so I am told.

I like Lori at Pamona on 7th Ave (somewhere near 14th St, but I can never remember the exact location). She's the owner and does good cuts at a reasonable (~$50) price

i'm also a fan of lori at pomona beauty sanctuary, especially if you have bangs - she is very meticulous with the bangs. sweet lady, too.

I second the vote for Hair Concern. Been going there for years. Both Dana and Vincent have cut my hair and do a great job.

Kym at Medusa (7th Ave @ 1st) is wonderful. She's been doing my cut and color for over a year.

I like Stephen at Fra Jean, he cuts my hair which is long,thin, and straight and does a great job. He also cuts 2 of my friend's hair, one has short curly hair and the other has shoulder length, thick, wavy hair. He does a great job with all of us and he's not expensive.
