The project is sponsored by The Daily News, and also includes free trolley service on weekends around the park to see all the lights.
They'll be up till January 7th
  • Oh - I saw the lights on the other day, and thought that I had missed the lighting... I must have happened along during a test run.
  • i saw it up close last night, it was really cool.
the best part was what the did in the fountain. they had these waves built out of chicken wire and covered with blue lights.

i heard they have another installation at the 15th street entrance to the park.
  • Soooo pwetty.
  • am i the only one who thinks they're kind of weird?
  • the tree is kind of lame, but the fountain is really cool.

haven't seen any of the other three areas yet.
  • i love the fountain! anyone have a photo of it?
