Whither Rice?

Anyone have any idea on whether Rice is still planning on moving into the old Tommy's Blue Corner space? They were supposed to be in @ end of May

Ah--if they'll deliver to us that could put a serious curve in my plans to cook more. But I bet they won't. Drat. I mean, good.

Rice has finally opened! Ordered on Fri. (11-11). While the food is tasty the portions are miniscule. So tiny that i called to complain that we did not get our full order. They explained that the rice and chicken satay were in the SAME 4" high container.

I have fond memories of great meals at the Rice on Mott St. Either I misremembered the portion size or things have changed quite a bit. Bottom line is good food but you might want to eat something beforehand or be prepared to pay a lot of money to be full. :?
