  • Not my first choice in venue, but I'm down...

Oh, and I don't wanna sound like too much of an advertisement, but we just became an Escalante dealer - this was pretty much based solely on an audition of the Fremonts. They're not realistic for 99% of the people out there ($, space), but they certainly are different and note worthy.
  • When? Early January is looking more likely for me.

My NAD finally got fixed so it looks like I'm not getting into valve-driven 2-channel after all.

WhyFi: do you carry, or otherwise have an opinion about, Dali of Denmark?
  • Doc - nope, don't carry 'em and I haven't listened to 'em. I only know that they're generally regarded as being pretty good performers and pretty decent values.

I like mine. Like any purchase that matters: I'm looking for much better than average consumer-level performance at not too much more than consumer-level prices.

That's the sad part - most people don't know that there's anything better out there, so they blow their hard-earned cash on crap at BB, CC, etc...

Sounds like fun - I'd be more than happy to participate, but I don't have anything notable to listen to at this point! Gimme a few months! :D
