Clinton Hill Nabe Map — Brooklynian

Clinton Hill Nabe Map

http://www.clintonhillblog.com/?p=352

It's a work in progress and we could use help with any errors or ommissions. I think it's useful especially with so many people new to the area.

Enjoy! Happy Holidays!

  • Absolutely love this! Thanks for putting it together.
  • The area labeled Stuyvesant Heights is actually Crown Heights. Otherwise, nicely done!

Suggestion: post in PDF so it's more printer-friendly.
  • This is awesome, thank you. As a graphic designer I must say I think it looks sharp.

    Thoughts:

    - Any chance you want to put buses on the map?
    - I think Gardens (#10 orange) is mis-placed. It's between Hall & Ryerson, isn't it?
    - I would add Los Pollitos III on Myrtle at Ryerson
    - Can we take White Castle off and pretend it doesn't exist?
  • nice, but I would describe the restaurant Kush is "French-Pan African", as the owners do, not just "African".
  • you should add metfoods on Fulton b/t St. James Pl. and Cambridge Pl. too (already have Associated listed...)
  • I'm not the creator, just the messenger, but all your replies are very helpful. I'll forward them on and see what we can do to make these changes.
  • Great map it could be a little bigger though and in pdf form so it is printable like said above. Good work though

You certainly have left out many spots in Fort Greene, specifically on Fulton Street between South Oxford and South Portland. Is there a specific reason why this was done? In case it was just oversight, you may wish to add B2Gear (clothing boutique); Night of the Cookers (bar/restaurant); Moshood (clothing store); Cake Man (bakery); Vellis (restaurant); there is also a Bridal Shop (I can't remember the name). These are a few of the establishments on the same block as the Green Grape. You may want to check this area again.
  • I think it is because it is primarily a map of clinton hill, not fort greene - there are several inaccuracies or missing bits of info as you can see from this thread, though the creator is not the person who started this thread so ...
  • Looks great. I love it.
  • Cool! You should add the new wine shop, Thirst Wine Merchants, on DeKalb and Carlton (187, right next to the juice bar). They aren't yet fully stocked, but already have a great, edited selection -- and they're dog-friendly to boot!
  • If you email [email protected] or leave the changes here i'll pass them on to the creator
