Care to come to a restaurant in PLG?

Since I just chimed in on a restaurant post in my old 'hood (and I look forward to going to Noo Na), I thought I'd give a quick plug for a new joint in my new 'hood: Enduro. It doesn't look like they are struggling at all but I am taking no chances: please help me make sure that the only restaurant in my neighborhood survives.

The owners of Pacifico on Smith Street have just opened up a TexMex place in Pacifico's mold, on Lincoln Road in PLG, right down the block from the south exit of the Prospect Park Q/B stop. Since this is our only sit down restaurant (no offense, Meytex or Mike's) I think I can speak for the whole neighborhood when I invite you all to come south of Empire and keep this place jumping. It won't be the best Mexican you've had but it is very good and the quality/price ratio is excellent (the guac is particularly good).

It is just a 15 minute walk south from the Eastern Parkway 2/3 station or a 3 minute (one stop) ride on the Q/B at 7th Ave.

I have no connection to the restaurant other than fandom and hope this doesn't offend the sensibilities of the Brooklynian community.

  • I went a few weeks ago and had a good time.
  • I just opened an office space a few blocks away, so I will stop in this week and check it out
  • cool. I've never been to that area. will definitely check it out when I get a chance. I have some nabe friends and BklynHeights friends who love Pacifico, so perhaps I can convince them to make the trek, as well.

    Alex, your Avatar is slightly......saucy.
  • My parents live a block away and went last week and gave it a good review. I'd be interested to know what others think.
