    what? didn't they just open?
  • I believe they had a hell of a time with chefs, and that's a very particular kind of food.

Look for this corner to reopen as another kind restaurant after a bit of re-renovation. I heard they got involved with a well-known chef, and made some new, delicious plans for the place.
  • dingleberry's perhaps?
  • Dingleberry's. Home of the dangling oyster.

Hard to believe Puebla went under, with all the experience behind it.
  • Wow, that was FAST.

I hope this doesn't mean resterauteurs will be hesitant to open another Mexican place around here again. I'd really love something closer to my place.

This is what happens when you hire "butchers" instead of chefs.

Theres supposedly a mexican place in the works for Classon Avenue btw Park Place and Prospect Pl. they've been working on the facade for a while and every now and again they have the shutters up so i've been able to peak inside. looks like it'll be rather nice once it's all done.

Is that what that is? In the old 2 fish 5 loaves spot?

    rock!
  • with any luck, this one will actually be run by mexicans. not sure why, but in my experience they tend to have the best mexican restaurants.
  • you can check out the new place on classon yourself.

it's open for dinner only this weekend, fri, sat, sun. the sign says limited menu for this weekend.

    please post if you go!

    looks nice inside.
  • Yeah, it's open - I walked by last night and there were good smells emanating. If we hadn't already had dinner in the oven, we would have tried 'em out.
  • i hope they close. it was not particularly great but then again that may be my ten years living in Texas talking.
