  • In my humble opinion, the best elote is thoroughly grilled, on a stick, slathered in mayonnaise, dusted with chile powder and crumbled white cheese. Specialty of the Red Hook futbol fields.

    Yes, indeed. But this is a case of "it's not you, it's me." Nothing against the food itself, it just doesn't appeal much to me.
