Subject: What's a Good Place to Get a Haircut in the Slope?

I have long, straight, happy and uncomplicated hair. I need someone to layer it and take an inch or two off. I've never had anyone give me a bad haircut so I'm not that picky..something cheap without appts needed would be great. Any recommendations?

  • I go to Stephen at Fra Jean and I like him alot. My mom and grandmother were hairdressers so I'm pickier than most. Stephen cuts my hair (which is long, fine, and mostly straight), friend 1 (who's hair is short, thick, and very curly), friend 2 (who's hair is shoulder length, thick, and wavy/curly), and friend 3 (who's hair is long, thick, and wavy). He's done a fabulous job with all of us and he's not expensive. I think the last time I went he charged $50. I gave him carte blanche to do what he liked as long as he didn't give me bangs or cut my hair shorter than shoulder length. He did a really nice job, gave me nice layers and an all around very flattering haircut. Hope this helps!
