Is this your entire life?
I'm curious, do some of you have some kind of deep, spiritual connection with this website and with internet forums in general? Some of you seem to get so upset if a thread is locked, or because you think that I am not a real Escort, or because you think that I am another user, or because you think somebody might be promoting their own business on here in a clandestine way. Don't you have more pressing things to think about and bigger fish to fry? If not, that is sad. This is the internet and its just entertainment. Most of us don't know each other in person. You guys have no idea who I am - although hilariously some of you think that you do. You don't even know whether I am male or female or black or white and why should you? But why do you get so upset about it and start ranting on about sock puppetry or whatever that shit is called and how many pets I might have. Why do you even give a shit? - I sure don't. And since some of you asked, yes I actually do have another user name on this forum and not ONE of you have guessed it - which is especially hilarious to me. While you are all "accusing" me of being Precious Williams, not a single one of you has successfully guessed my real identity or linked me with my previous user name on here. Anyway, why not get some hobbies, things like yoga, crocheting and horse riding are especially entertaining and all can help you to focus on the truly important things in life, which likely don't include getting so emotionally involved in internet bickering and so on. I post on here for fun, I've no idea whether any of you are who you say you are and I really don't care either. If you want to know who people really are, you hang out with them in real life not just exchange messages with who they claim to be on some internet forum. Have fun!

No, I'm not Djuoh either.

Why do you spend so much of your time and energy reminding us daily of your profession around here? Surely most members have got the message by now. Don't you have other things to see, people to do?

horse riding? -
The suggestion that people who are heavily involved in these boards must not have a life outside of them and telling us "why don't you get some hobbies" is pretty insulting.
I can't speak for others, but I certainly have a life outside this site. I have an interesting career in the nonprofit world doing work I care a great deal about, I've been running a successful monthly reading series for three years, I'm beginning to be involved in tenant activism, and I have lots of friends and a pretty active offline social life. I don't crochet or ride horses, but I do knit.
At the same time, I do spend a lot of time on this site. Through this site I've met several people who have become real friends with whom I hang out with sometimes offline, I found my apartment, found a freelance job to supplement my income, and I've learned tons about my neighborhood and Brooklyn in general. I find it to be a valuable resource for finding out anything from what's going on with Ratnerville or where the best Cuban sandwich in the area can be found. So yeah, I do care about this site (wouldn't go so far as to call it a "deep, spiritual connection"), which is part of why I volunteered to be a moderator.
Your post sounds like a lot of old stereotypes about the Internet in general (the idea that people who are online a lot don't do anything else, etc.), which is ironic coming from someone who bristles so much when she feels someone is making assumptions based from stereotypes about her. And even more ironic coming from someone who obviously spends just as much time online here as many of the rest of us. -

The true irony, Whyfi is that for someone who feels he has the right to criticize others so heavily, you sure are a long way from perfect yourself. You've been criticized for your own bad attitude and antagonism by other members. So, STFU. -

Don't knock it unless you've tried it. Horse riding is actually more fun than bickering on the internet, believe it or not. Horses are beautiful animals and also strangely soothing. -

and MPWW, i agree that horses are beautiful, but in terms of "soothing" i think i look at them from a different perspective. when you're a veterinary professional, sometimes you approach horses from a clinical perspective and have to do things like physical exams and blood draws. then they are every pound the giant, powerful beast! all it takes is one hard bump or gentle kick (strong kicks are bone shattering, but most horses purposely don't kick that hard) to remind us that horses could squish us like bugs on a windshield HA HA HA! don't get me wrong -- i love horses, but i always keep half a suspicious eye on them

Nope. Editing.
And as usual, you're conveniently choosing to ignore the majority of what someone has to say in response to you in favor of a flip remark that only brings up your own fixation with escorting for the umpteenth time. You claim you're so baffled as to why so many people find your posts frustrating and annoying; that's one reason. -

That was interesting to hear your perspective on horses as a vet! Thanks for sharing. I used to be a regular rider and it never got boring. Obviously it's not as exciting if you've done it many times before, but I found it wonderful and would like to start up again. Yes, horses are huge, but the "gentle giants" that really worry me are cows. They are just such huge motherfuckers and although they're supposedly docile, I still get scurred around them sometimes. -

MPWW has the most entertaining threads, with everyone getting riled up! Love it!

Wait, this whole avatar thing is confusing me. :-s How am I supposed to follow this scintillating back and forth if I'm constantly getting tripped up as to who's talking? There's gotta be a blog law against using your opponent's avatar as your own, no? [-X

There certainly should be. It screws up the whole board. -

NonCelebrity Deathmatch. I'm definitely up for it. I'm quite slight but I still pack a mean punch and believe I could truly kick Whyfi's stereo-sellin' fat ass. -

Yeah, outside of drinking blood and collecting beanie babies, this is pretty much it for me.

I don't understand why posting here and hanging out with people in real life are supposed to be mutually exclusive. Scanning down this thread, I count 10 people who have posted, and I've met 7 of them. I've made a good number of real-life friends through this board--far more than I ever did hanging out at a bar or even doing New York Cares projects.

Ah, so you are threatening me. I'm pretty sure that threats and saying that I have a fat ass are in complete violation of the rules. I think that a banning is in order. -

You're right, it does not have to be mutually exclusive. But for some people - me included - it is. -

yes, threats specifically mentioning your fat ass are not allowed. It's ok as long as your fat ass is not mentioned, you fat-assed fuck.
