Subject: Quijibo: Where's Kika?!?

i just received an email from another list (this information is unconfirmed) that none other than Quijibo's sweet pooch Kika has gone missing this evening. just take a look at his avatar to see what she looks like. the only info i have is that she went missing in prospect park around seven PM.

Q, if you are out there, please let us know what the story is. i've got no other means of getting in touch with you besides email.

folks, keep a lookout for a brindle & white pitbull roaming around park slope, most likely: between 9th streets & st. marks; between PPW & 3rd avenue.

sorry for the double-post, but i am adding this to the PS board.

  • wow. the word spreads quick!

    great news!!!!

after yelling "kika!" at the top of my lungs for 45 minutes
--from the windsor terrace side of the long meadow to the grand army plaza side...
without any luck -- i decided to run home in case she had run home in panic

when i got home. there was a police car in front of my building
with kika sitting in the back :)

the officers told me a couple had found her at the edge of the park
--that they had tried to bring her home with them. but kika wouldn't leave the park
    {she probably thought i was still there}
so the coppers gave her a lift home
    whewwwww!!!!!

tomorrow i'm buying her a reflective collar so i can spot her more easily in the dark

park slope is full of sooooooo many nice people. thank you everyone for your help
    =D> =D> =D>

    peace
  • Yay, Kika? So what happened? Did she slip out of her leash when you were walking her?

we were offleash in the long meadow about 6pm. it was kinda dark
she's mostly brindle so she blends real easy into the background

she was off playing with a 6 foot long log in the grass
when i called her. she wasn't there.

she had lost sight of me and wandered off to look for me
i was wearing a purple parka. hard to see in the dark
--maybe i should wear a reflective collar too
