www.laundry.bz
Has anyone ever tried this service? Their website says they pick up and drop off anywhere in PS, Carroll Gardens, Prospect Heights, etc.
Doesn't seem much more expensive than dropping off laundry yourself at a dry cleaner. Just wondering if it's too good to be true? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use laundry.bz., and they are pretty great. I live in a walk-up and they come all the way up to my door. You do everything online, and they let you specify whether you want your laundry washed hot, warm, or cold, and dried on high or low (which a lot of drop-off services don't even do). It does cost more for drying on low, however. They charge extra for stuff like blankets and rugs (including bathroom mats - why these things are considered 'rugs,' I don't know), although all of the other laundry services I have used also do this. It's just as good as a regular laundry service except you don't have to do anything but open your door. Pretty cool! The only downside is that sometimes they can't pick up at the time I really want and I have to be awake by 8 am to wait for them. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

Do these guys do dry cleaning as well?
I recently moved to the south slope and the dry cleaners I use there, while being good, chose to staple the lables THROUGH the shirts instead the button holes, which is very disturbing.
So I am in the market for another service. -

My wife and I have been using them for over a year and highly recommend them. They are timely and do a better job of cleaning than the drop-off places we've tried. -
Subject: Tip?
Do you tip? If so, how much do you tip for the pickup/drop-off? -

Even though I moved to the south slope I still use Randex at 5th St., they're awesome. And they pick up and deliver.
