I am actually surprised by how many places do deliver. (I'm on 22nd)
My favorite deliverers are Red Hot, Jack's, Pizza Plus, and Daisy's Diner.
If only we had a good Indian place, I'd be all set. -

there's a few Indian 'raunts that delivery on 7th Ave...but I cannot vouch for any of them.

And he/she makes a killer holandaise for Eggs benedict. -
Hunan Delight on Union Street is good and delivers via car down to South Slope/Greenwood. They have good vegetarian options.

Our FAVORITE! Try the shrimp & spinach dumplings. The tofu home-style rocks as well...
Yummy.

Ugh...I do not like Hunan Delight. Try East Cuisine. They deliver and I have never once tried something that wasn't amazing.

I'm just wondering: Is the conventional wisdom, then, that Kinara, Bombay Grill and Star of India are not any good? Or are you wishing there was a go-o-od Indian place? -

Lots of places deliver, even ones way up in the nanny side of Park Slope. I regularly get delivery from Kinara (Indian), Aunt Suzie's (Italian) and Nana (Thai and sushi), to name a few. But, closer to home, in GWH, and sticking to my repeat favorites: Real New York Brothers (Italian), Peking Kitchen (Chinese), Joy Kitchen (Chinese), Wookata Thai Grill and Bar BQ. -
I tried Bombay Grill just the other day. It was much better than I expected it to be.
Howdy, Stranger!
