Can someone recommend a good cobbler/shoe repair person?

The shoe repair place at 341 Flatbush (@ Park Place) does good work for a reasonable price.
But what I appreciate most is that it's one of those "only in Brooklyn" experiences: a joint Russian-Caribbean business. You can get your shoes repaired by friendly Slava (he'll also flirt with you if you are female), and shop for leather goods with a Rastafarian or rap motif custom-made by the West Indian guy. -
Thanks for the tip! Best, Agg.

I'm partial to the Italian shoe repair right next to the Q train stop on Flatbush, just above 7th Avenue. The guy who owns(?) it/ works there is super nice and the prices are really reasonable. He does great work too.

I think you're talking about the same place as the first respondent, but thanks. Just dropped my shoes off. -Agg.
