Brooklyn Burger Bar
Ok... went in there last night to get a burger for take out....
Couple of thing:
1. I ordered a burger with lettuce and onions... got bacon and tomatoe.
2. The burger was quite small.. .
3. The fries we soggy
4. Cost over 11 bucks.
Messing up a burger order is 100% unacceptable... their singular mission in life is to put the proper toppings on a burger. If I was asked to complete to simplest of tasks on my first day on the job and a I completly disregarded my bosses instructions I would be fired on the spot.
Why the hell is that place packed every single night.... It's just not that good.

Yeah, went there a month ago or thereabouts. The server was nice enough, but there was something wrong with every G.D. thing we ordered. Amazing that hasn't been squared away yet. Even brought me the wrong beer.
And yeah the fries were underdone, but I thought the burger and salad we had were both pretty good. -
wow, its tough to excuse poor french fries at a burger bar...i dont know, considering the pleasure, for me at least, of the whole burger experience is the sublime combination of the fries WITH the burger i would be very hesitant in going to this place. bummer.

Wait a minute--small burger, botched order, crappy fries for $11? Are you f*n kidding me? (You might as well have gone to Daisy's. Jeez...) I don't know about "their singular mission in life is to put the proper toppings on a burger" but that kind of ineptitude is not tolerated at MickeyD's let alone that kind of joint.

Having said that, people screw up. It could've been an honest mistake. However, if it happens regularly--which might be the case, judging from yours and Drano's post--well then...
Personally, I'm less concerned about your first point--although I will give you, it is annoying--as I am with points 2, 3, 4. -
I've been to BBB twice now, and both times my food was very good, and service prompt.
I'll keep going back.
I'd give it a B+. -
May I suggest a strongly worded letter to the manager?
-
Hey at least there wasn't a 4 inch long black curly hair sticking out of your burger after your second bite.
-
next time you go.
and they fuck up your order.
just pepper spray 'em!! -
BBB got the thumbs down in this week's village voice....

I agree with all the negative comments. I've been here three or four times and every time, it's more and more inconsistent: The fries are always different, the pickles are always different---and sadly they're not different for the better. Just this weekend, my girlfriend and I each ordered the trio of mini-burgers, and---I KID YOU NOT--the meat was the size of a quarter. The other times we've had them, they were twice the size and they were good; this time, they tasted like B-grade beef. The pickes tasted like fermented cucumbers, my friend's shoestring fries tasted like they were marinated in straight-up animal fat. Absolutely revolting!! We talked to the waitress about the inconsistenties and she was gracious, apologetic and took some $$ off our check; after all, the crappy food not her fault! This was the last straw and we're no longer going back there.

Hey y'all..... well, I went there again ( I do live right upstairs).... and I've got to say it was a lot better. The burger was bigger, the fries were totally different (for the better)... and the service was really good on a really crowded evening...
