Clearly you need a few more condos built, the blocks around my home used to be a minefield but now that there are new condos and renovations galore - a pile of poop is the exception rather then the rule.

As to whether people love PS or not - I do (I also believe all these negative stories are completely exaggerated too) but more then loving what it was or is, what I love about PS/Brooklyn/NYC more then anything is the changes - I love that was once graffitti filled lots, decrepit autobody shops or empty brownstones, can change and become 12 story buildings, good restaurants or fancy homes. I love to see empty storefronts fill with buisnesses and then see those buisnesses succeed or fail and trying to predict or analysis why. I love to see new buildings going up and seeing the architechture - both good and bad - take shape. I love to see parks that were once filled with drug dealers and whinos, fill with couples and kids and families , which in turns attracts more people and thene the park fills with even more.

And more then anything what I love about NYC is that everyone has an opinion about all this change and isnt afraid to tell it.
