Dueling Spelling Bees

I note that Freddy's has its monthly Spelling Bee on Monday 12th but that Union Hall is also advertising a "Spelling and Grammar Bee" the same evening.

We have been to the one at Freddy's a few times and the attendance is normally - er - sparse. Is Union Hall any better?

Does anybody who is into this kind of thing have an opinion on which one we should attend?

Well, the one at Freddy's is run by a friend of mine, so I'm admittedly biased, but I always have a blast at it.

Regardless how much I like the bee at Freddy's, it's VERY lame of Union Hall to schedule their for the same night, in my opinion.

Perhaps a bit off-topic, but does Freddy's have a website or a schedule of events posted? YarnGuy and others are good about posting specific events, but is there a calendar?

I'm excited about the prospect of a spelling bee...
