Hi,

We are the site Citynoise.org, and are a public photoblog that anyone can post to and comment on... we run out of Brooklyn, and live in Prospect Heights.

We invite you to both come check out some photos of the neighborhood, and to also participate and post something yourself if you'd like!

    Glad you like my submissions there. I'm trying to represent Prospect Heights on there as much as possible, as you can probably tell. I love my neighborhood.

    Cool. When I get a chance, I'll do a blog post on the main page (Dailyheights.com). You can always send in a pic of the day, or just alert me when you put a new PH post on citynoise.

    I like the graffiti obsession, too. I didn't know those were referred to as "throws." Being a rank neophyte I always refer to them as tags.

    awesome! any linkage you wanna do would be awesome... its sort of a community photoblog where no one is in charge save for the popular posters... so i try to get on there and represent our hood... which is slowly making up a rather large majority of the site, heh. and theres a link on there to dailyheights, so im sure any linkage or spreading-the-word you wanna do would be appreciated by me and the rest of us on there, so that we can all get some exposure :)

    and yeah, ill definitely submit some photos to the "pic of hte day"... ive gotten to where i post an entry on citynoise about once a day of stuff in our hood, so i definitely have much material to share- feel free to use any of it. i seem to collect such photos and stories faster than i can share em, so another nice outlet such as your site here is always aprpeciated.

    yeah, theres alot of graf-related content on the site lately... the content trends just sort of go with the flow of whatever are the most popular postings at that time, but people really seem to love to post/discuss graffiti- its a perpetually popular topic.

    i actually just now made a post there about some of the copious parakeet graf paste-ups I've been seeing around the neighborhood lately. Fascinating.

    Just adding my two cents - but as a reformed graffiti writer - when you wrote your name it was a "tag" when you did a larger more elaborate "mini-piece" it was called a throw.
