nope and I'm right around the corner from you (on washington across from ripple). and my window is slightly open. are there cops there yet?
-
We heard it (over on Sterling), assumed it was firecrackers. But what do we know...
-
on st. johns, too and heard nothing.
-
Im on St Johns & heard the gunshots clear, may be coming from lincoln pl

I haven't heard the police sirens, so I assume that means no one was hurt. I hope everyone's ok.
-
heard 'em - underhill + lincoln..
-
heard them from prospect and classon, somewhat distant. so close together they were.
-
I didn't hear it from St Johns and Underhill.

So weird how many people in different locations heard things. Man, I was in the front room of my apartment and didn't hear a thing. No cops means things are okay. Could they have been fireworks? I know, doubtful, but maybe?
-
I didn't hear them, but then, I usually don't come out from under my bed between sundown and sunup. One time someone stepped on some bubble wrap, and I had to breathe out of a paper bag for a week.

i did hear them (on park place & franklin)
but since my neighbor across the street was blasting music
i couldn't be 100% sure and i had no idea where they were coming from
i hope someone called it in
i will take this opportunity to say that this area (more CH) is really being being looked at (and studied) with respect to increased gun violence
and this is an issue that needs to get addressed internally by the community as well as by the police -
Heard 'em on Sterling between Washington/Underhill, but was unclear whether it was fightin' in the streets or some combo of the wine, cigarettes and 2 hours of Jack Bauer bustin' a cap in a terrorist's tookus...

i heard them too, crystal clear, st. johns between underhill and washington, and immediately looked outside - no one was reacting or panicked or anything, and no sirens. i wasn't sure if it was gun shots or firecrackers, though. hoping for the latter.

I'm officially scared. I really don't think those were fire crackers. The pops, although in rapid succession, seemed to be spread too far apart to be firecrackers. I was on the phone with my mother when I heard them and I said to her, "I think someone just got shot." No news is good news, I guess.

We heard them too - we're in the front of the building on St. John's b/t Washington and Underhill. Although we've heard random gunshots over the years from our apartment, it's always scary to hear another round. Someone mentioned that CH & PH are being monitored for increased gun violence. Does anyone have more information about this? It might help the rest of us to feel a little safer knowing that someone has our back.
