Last month one woman demanded to know "Why didn't I get the ham, why did she win the ham! I NEVER win the ham". Then she fell over the mike stand spilling wabasi peas all over the stage.     I've studdied the karaoke insrtuctional videos and I now see the error in our low-tech mysterious method. We need wood paneling, a drop ceiling and more backwards baseball caps. We already have the drunken nervous people. We also need more white-people wrap. I vote that we change the name of our blood sport event to Humans Against Music (HAM).

    i'm pretty stoked about the new garfunkel cd. every time i hear about a p. simon cd i'm like, "so john oates has another solo recording out."

    I mock a little but fondly. I have what is now known as post-prom trauma. I was forced into a group date with a young lady they said had a great laugh... for a seagull, the theme, "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)". Not having a liscence then, I just couldn't use that "I'm grounded" excuse. I felt trapped, scared for my life in my ill-fitting powder blue tux.

    Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

    But without H+O how would blind people know that it's Couple Skate Only? One can walk through the park and faintly hear One on One. In my most insecure moments I know that Private Eyes Are (in fact) Watching Me.

    my hippie high school didn't have prom (though they had something worse than prom called "social dance", a true nightmare. still, if anyone wore a colored tux it would have been as a parody.)

    sigh. one on one. think i have to go through my CDs and find me some sara smile.

    Yes we do, but we've kept this of the list for some time. We had a tragic fratboy "Piano Man" incident early on. Everyone knows that "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant" leads directly into a "Piano Man" medly.

    For that spirited young man, I have good news. Long Island's son of the soil will be yours this Wednesday. Look out!

    "We didn't Start The Fire", the love theme from the Christie Brinkley LifeTime movie "I Hate you Cheryl Tiegs and I Hope You Go to Hell!". Both roles were played by Markie Post.

    "We Didn't...", "Stranger", and "Scenes" are actually the same song with three more bridges and two modulations... Oh no, I feel the whole "Piano man" incident coming back. Gotta take my meds. Brrrrrrr.

    So I was at Trader Joe's this morning trying to buy Thai Style Chili Peanuts, but the line wasn't moving so I left. And you know what started playing on my way out? "Piano Man". The "La di di da, la di da da" part is possibly what drove poor Britney to shave her head. Long story short, I ran. No nuts tonight.

    First Prize: A 48 oz Krakus Canned Ham, pure procine pleasure!

    Second Prize: Higüeral Salami 16 oz, the umlaut means flavor

    Third Prize: 2 bottles of Gold's Wasabi Sauce, 10 oz of mild burning

    So show up and sing the songs of love, you just might get lucky
