    thats too bad. you should definetly reschedule sometime! and I have a book club that would love to meet other book clubs in brooklyn (we call ours Booklyn) it would be great to coordinate a big book swap.

    Ack! Sad....I was hoping this was still on as my own Valentine is stuck in Hotlanta due to the weather.

    Should definitely schedule something similar later in the winter.

    Well, good thing I cancelled. I just got home from taking my cat to the vet - she was sick last night and has only gotten worse.

    She'll be fine, but poor thing.

    What a Valentine's Day - ha, ha!!!

    Yes, I would still like to have a book swap soon.

    Let's start a new thread and plan a new date. Suggestions for a good meeting spot are most welcome.

    Hi Everyone,

    Yes, I'd like to plan a book swap soon. I'm house sitting and dog sitting right now, so I'm not online so much for the next week or so.

    Will post a new topic thread over the weekend to see if we can get something planned.

    i like the idea of meeting at Flatbush Farm - I haven't been there yet, but it looks nice.

    The owners of Sheep Station actually thought it would be a great idea and their backroom would be perfect for throwing a bunch of books on the communal tables and mingling. I'd definetly be interested in coming to a book swap!

    Im fine with either place, and so far we have Red, Guitar and myself. I think Emily and Alafair would enjoy this also. I wouldn't even mind an early Sat. afternoon into evening.
