I heart PH
Is anyone else avoiding the Park Slope Message Boards lately? Seems to be overrun with the perennial civil war between all the haves/have-nots, kidless/stroller-bound-parents, old-timers/yuppies, etc. Oh wait. That's sorta what Park Slope is like, too.
Relieved be living in PH these days...
Best,
-An Ex-Pork-Slopper who loves his neighbors in PH. Even if they leave their dog's poop on the sidewalk.

i can enjoy all the conveniences of park slope without having to deal with the annoyances.
the thing that probably annoys me the most is the super narrow side walks on 7th ave. you can practically drive a bus down the side walks on vanderbilt.

Yes we have much more children here than in PS but the PH children are so above average and so well behaved that you don't even notice it.whereisscott wrote: Even if they leave their dog's poop on the sidewalk.

I am tired of the mommies v. child-free as well. Enough!
I need to move in November. Looks like I'll be exploring my options in PH. -
After 10 years in PH, I'm glad to be in Ditmas except we need a gym, and not just a kosher gym.

Maybe we need 'I heart PH' merchandise. Or even cooler, something along these lines:

Me too. Boring. Yawn. Boaring Board. But the music part of it stirred me in regards to Union Hall......
We need a music venue over here!
Howdy, Stranger!
