Been seeing this on craigslist for a bit--anyone know the story? Those balconies look TERRIFYING.

  • I just saw that listing myself. $100 says it's actually in Crown Heights, though.
  • Not sure about the exact location of the building BUT:
It is looking through the residential co-op towers in Ft Green to Manhattan making it EAST of Washington Avenue ( anyone want to chime in?) I am guessing and-

    One Question:
What is close to the 4/5, 2/3 and S trains?= (edge of) PH/Crown Heights.
    Depending on who(m) you ask....

    A few educated guesses:

The 4/5 train stops at Franklin Avenue...and then Atlantic..The S is on Eastern parkway from there... Also the photo of Manhattan was defintely taken from the ROOFTOP with a zoom lens and not the actual apartment....just a guess...

And yes, those balconies ARE scary. Hope there is some steel rebar or framing in them...sometimes things that look wrong to even the "untrained" eye are "wrong". Concrete is not great in tension.

Remember, fear is a gift from God to be used for self preservation...

    Agreed.
  • It is crown heights. I saw it going up last summer, but I was always in the car when I noticed it. Can't recall exactly where between Franklin and Classon I think maybe? If I'm not mistaken its fairly close to Brooklyn Jewish so that would be St Marks perhaps?
  • This is the building across from the Jewish hospital. It's on st marks between Classon and Franklin. From what others have said it is the same owners/managers as the hospital.
  • yep, i live there. it's niceish
  • I was trying to read the ad but the typeface made me seasick, I threw up
  • check out this combo window/balcony:
