Dr Fuchs ( whose name might be recognized from another discussion here) recommended him. I have seen him twice and liked him alot. very efficient office.. areal time appointment.. I waited no more than 5 minutes one time and 10 min on the other appointment.

I have used Dr Zelaya and recommended him to people as well. He has a very pleasant manner. What put me off a little was all the ads around for Botox and cosmetic proceedures. I understand that in modern Dermatology this is their bread and butter but it seemed "frivilous" to me in some way. So I will stay with my first recommendation of Dr. Frankel who very well may do all that other stuff as well but puts up no outreach advertisements around the office for those services..
Just my opinion.

I have ghi and I know he takes that... give the office a call and ask. that is best way. Sometimes docs take a certain insurance for a while and then they don't so u need most current info before you make an appointment anyway.

I'd love to find a dermatologist in Park Slope. Until then, I will take the R train from Union Street and 4th Avenue to the place below, where I like all of the doctors.
