can you help out a local photographer? — Brooklynian

can you help out a local photographer?

hello,

i'm a local photographer (living on dean street) working on a long-term project of documenting the architecture within and around the Atlantic Yards site.

i would like to take some bird's eye photos of the site, but do not have access to any of the tall buildings which surround the site.

does your home or business overlook the site? would you allow me to take photographs of the site from your location, and/or from the roof of your building? i would most likely need less than 15 minutes, and i would be happy to compensate you for your time and trouble with a print.

please contact me at tc[at]3c[dot]com if you're willing and able to help, or if you know someone who would be.

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

  • I don't know anyone there, but one thing you might try is to identify some buildings you think have good views and then track down owners via:

    oasisnyc.net

Or with addresses, you can use NYC Board of Finance website and/or ACRIS
    Good Luck.
  • you can get to a certain height in the Atlantic Center mall - go in on the Atlantic Ave corner by the Pathmark, take the escalators all the way up, go through some double doors to the long hallway with huge windows overlooking the railyards and PH. It's open to the public.
