sounds like fun!... and a great idea. But there's no way to stick even close to that timetable
Especially rolling deep and walking from spot to spot. -

well, I have a feeling I'm going to edit that list down a bit and adjust times accordingly. I'm sure at least one or two places are going to have either a cover or private party. I'm planning to call the ones I have numbers for at some point today, but I figured I'd wait til later, when I know they'll be open.

It might be a good idea to swap some cell numbers in case (or when) the schedule goes off.
-
I'm going to try and meet up at some point as well. So I'll be sure to keep myself posted!
-
I will probably be along for most of this.
-
cool. if anyone wants my cell #, PM me. I'll provide it and my first name (oh my god!) so you know where we are or can track us down.
-
dang, I can't make this one. I'd love to catch up to a future one though
-
I think I'm in.
-
I'll come out for the first 2-3 bars...
-
I'm in. Hope the weather is forgiving to us drunks...

Why did you not include Tavern on Nostrand. It is so much better than cafe 400 and secrets?

if those places end up having cover charges/private parties, I'll try to swap them in. do you have their number? -
I'm looking strong for this, although I am PS. In fact, my 6 year old just had a little $7m decaf latte this morning.
And a $5 cookie. -
okay all, I'm not finding a phone number for VIP or Secrets, so I can't call them to find out if they're going to have a cover or whatever.
also, based on this it looks like, though the event is scheduled for saturday, cafe 400 hosts some pretty intense nights on the weekends. but at least I have their number.
according to tavern on nostrand's website, they're going to have live jazz with no cover til midnight on friday.
and hey, for any jazz musicians out there (including singers *cough*), check out this:

so. so far I know we can get in to soda, sepia and ripple. I'm still working on getting in touch with cafe 400, brooklyn exposure and tavern on nostrand. and, unless someone has a number for secrets or VIP, we may need to skip them. if someone in CH has a chance this evening to pop into either of those spots to get the scoop, I'd appreciate it.
okay, that's it for updates. the schedule will be updated sometime this evening, so be sure to check either tonight or tomorrow before you head out. k? -

As long as you've never owned a Like-A-Bike, no problem. -
The M family has had a long, long week and expect to show up for at least part of this.
-
okay folks, I updated the schedule. as izisharp pointed out, we'll probably be running behind. I put an extra half hour on the soda end b/c food can take a bit of time there, and it will allow more time post-work for people to make their way to the crawl.
as stated before, PM me if you want my cell # for up to the minute texts telling you where we're off to.
to advise as to why changes were made:
brooklyn exposure is on the northern side of bedford, so it's easier to head south on nostrand from there instead of heading straight to tavern on nostrand (it'd require crossing e.pkway). tavern on nostrand closes at midnight, so I just nixed it. I did speak to them, and they sound really nice, so we should do a happy hour there.
the brooklyn exposure people seemed kinda snarly on the phone. ("more than 6 people after 10 p.m.?? you'll be lucky if you can get in!") so, if we're running behind, we can make up time there if the folks there are as snarly as the person answering the phone.
cafe 400's phone is disconnected and I can't figure out how to get in touch with VIP at all. so I nixed them, too.
greg gave me a way to get in touch with the folks at secrets - super nice, super excited about a bar crawl coming through their bar, no cover, etc. so they're staying on the list.
if anyone has beef ... organize a happy hour at your favorite spot!
see y'all tomorrow night!

It's looking like I will probably be joining for at least part of the evening, and if so I'll text you before I head out to find out where you are. I really need a stiff cocktail or seven after this week.

yay! I'm so excited about this. I've already told my (impossible) bosses at work that I have a 'very important appointment' at 7 p.m in brooklyn. yay!!! -
aww man, i would be down for this except that i have the cold of the century. I feel like stuffy mcstuffed.
Anyone have quick fix remedies so I too can indulge in alcholic socialization? -
The holy trinity: Afrin 12-hour nasal spray, tylenol and sudafed 24-hour or 12-hour.
