  • Subject: What an incredibly racist comment!!!!

I am stunned by your ridiculus and racist comment.

What do you mean, only a 'LATINO' delivery man would do such a thing?!!

It is people like you that will ultimately bring this society to its knees, not the delivery guy, who probably works 16 hours a day to make what you make while you fry an egg.

    Pathetic, really.

I think you misunderstood. The original person was criticizing racists beliefs in Park Slope via sarcasm & satire.

I think you guys actually agree with each other.
  • I Live in FG. Be careful. You can't buy bloody groceries ANYWHERE. So you have to become like those road snarlin' fresh direct jokers having their stuff delivered or drive to Red Hook. It's bollocks. No neighborhood infrastructure - if you want to shop locally you're SOL.
  • Can anyone point me to the Gawker thread that commented (negatively, I presume) on Black people hanging out at exclusive hipster bars?

And can someone give Furious a crash course in Reading Comprehension.

I live in Clinton Hill, and we have two supermarkets that I pass on my walk home from the subway. Plus FG has the greenmarket every Saturday.

Where are you living that you're not seeing grocery options?
  • Perhaps what she meant to say was "decent" groceries anywhere.

I don't need a cheese shop or anything like that but you would have to admit that the selection of some items at the Associated Market(s) or Elly's is a bit thin.
  • mmm, it's thin in some areas, and pretty good in others...it's about even with the grocery store that was near me in the East village, actually.
