  • Can I still go even if I don't know what Purim is? On the plus side, I love Matisyahu and hamentashen.
  • I am SO there.
  • Dear Bigguy,
    You are most definitly welcome!
    Happy Purim!

btw, for more info on purim see: http://www.chabad.org/holidays/purim/default.asp?flash=true
  • thats cool, its such a small venue for him. I would imagine this is selling out
  • Great show! I left before the end, but only because I'm beat from drinking all weekend. Ari, I hope you finally got that sheep off your head.
  • Hey yeah I left before the end.

Damn there were some really gorgeous men there.
    Mostly with babies though, sigh.

Anyway, it was wonderful -- I haven't been involved in anything Jewish community oriented since I was a wee one in New Jersey.
  • Had a great time, Kudos.
  • Dear quig, brooklynleather & bigguy,
glad you enjoyed and look forward to seeing at our future events.
please contact me privately at [email protected] so that we may stay in touch and have you for shabbat dinner at our home sometime. (btw, that applies to all!)
    best & thank you.
    Rabbi Ari
  • bigguy,
I wore that “sheitel” (sheep/wig) for about 10 hours! I practically had to peal it off! Never mind that it weighed 10 pounds… or that my head is still itching… but it was well worth it in the purim spirit. If even one person smiled or laughed (and I know they did) then its intention was fulfilled.
  • Happy Purim from this heathen.. how was the show?

I love his Live At Stubb's album.
