There are a few along Fulton Avenue. I don't know of any personally. But look into doing some research.

It's Fulton "Street" not Avenue.

I love how everybody is bending over backwards to shame this person and nobody has really helped.
I am buying a house right now with Tom Le at Corcoran and he's... well, he's not a scumbag and at least *tries* to have your interests in mind. You can surely find his number at Corcoran's website.
Remember, though, that realtors always represent the seller, and are, unfortunately, not averse to tooling you. Don't trust any broker to care about your needs if they differ from the seller's needs. -
when I was looking last year, I didnt rely on a broker. I checked all realty co websites, the new York Times real estate section, and craigs list. You can find open houses, get a sense of market rates, etc. If you put the work in, you can save some money, see more properties, and have some fun. Goodluck.

Subject: Clinton Hill/ Fort Green broker
A piece of my bio: My skillset makes me truly unique in the brokerage community. My story: a carpenter who became a movie set builder, a building owner and landlord, an investor and now a broker. My background allows me to service clients and customers with a keen all-around insight. I bring to clients and customers my own personal experience of buying, renovating and managing five townhouse properties in Brooklyn.
Additionally, I own property and I have lived in the Clinton Hill/ Fort Green area for 8 years.
I would be happy to help. [email protected] -

Shop around. Doesn't hurt to have a few realtors helping you find your "dream home". After all, it only costs you your time to look. Realtors get a bad rap for many reasons it seems, but go with your gut. You'll sense when your getting snowballed or subverted by "the sellers best interes". As another poster commented, realtors represent the person providing the paycheck, but you have every right to ask all questions until reassured and to put forth as many questions as you feel you need to as buying a home is a big financial commitments. Good luck in your search. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to e-mail me or visit my site (site just getting off the ground, but hopefully, it will give you a sense of the bed-stuy community.
Can anyone recommend a relator to help with apartment hunting in these neighborhoods? I currently live in Fort Greene and feel that it's time to buy something but see very few things reasonable places on Craigslist.
Thank you,
Kelly

Abdul Muid at Corcoran. He's so great (and honest!) that he's become a friend. And John Henahan at Brooklyn Properties.

Corcoran is not a good realtor. They are racist. -
I've been looking on my own. Try Streeteasy.com - great website that lets you save and track properties for sale in NYC. It compiles properties listed from all major NYC brokerages so you don't have to look at 10 different sites. It tells you the time properties have been on the market and if/when asking prices have been reduced. Seems NY brokers don't work for buyers or sellers- they work for themselves and their own comissions. I've had bad experiences dealing with them.

How is corcoran racist? Abdul Muid is black and does very well for himself and his clients.

Oooo-kay. So, to reiterate my question (keeping in mind that you have no personal experience with the agency): how is Corcoran racist then?
Howdy, Stranger!
