So I certainly didn't join the forum to advertise, but is it okay to post info. about a class that I teach in the area ?

Just want to ask first...

Thanks,

  • oh man. the mods are gonna mock you silly -- run for your life!!!
  • I should hope that no one would be mocked for asking a question.

The point of asking first is out of courtesy for the users of the forum. If it's not allowed, no problem. Sheesh.
  • Sure -- why not?
  • hi. not a mod here, but i'm guessing your best place to advertise would be on the Classifieds board. it evens lists "classes" as part of its description.

oh, and don't mind Q. when he said:

Quick guys get the chains and jagged instruments!

This is from the rules pages, conveniently linked to at the top of every page. I hope it answers your question, if not, let us know

Commercial posts go in CLASSIFIEDS. If you are posting about an event that's specific to one neighborhood, it's OK to post that outside of the CLASSIFIEDS board.

and I am moving this thread to board admin
  • you can also post to the events board - that one seems to get a lot of seminar/class listings.
  • Thanks. Will try the events board.
  • What do you teach?

    Some kinda instrument or somethin'?
