Road paving on Sterling b/w 6th and 7th? Towing cars???!

looks like there is some roadwork going on there. half of the block's road is currently stripped.

my concern is that there are no signs posted about when they will be laying down new asphalt, and since I just parked there on the Monday side with intentions of leaving the car 'til the weekend, I don't want to go back to find that the city has towed my car into a spot where i'll get a ticket (as has been known to happen to others).

does anyone have any info on the roadwork?

there was "No Parking Monday" signage up on Sunday. I parked there today as well and the signs were gone.

I plan on checking when I get back from work tomorrow, but I imagine they're coming back this week.

thanks. i wonder how many people parked on the Tuesday side before the signs went up and came back today to move their car only to not find it there...

They will definitely tow. They paved 22nd St this morning and blasted a message about towing cars with a loudspeaker early this morning. After my shower, I looked out the window and saw a towtruck going by with a car attached.
