event space/ venue rental in south brooklyn

Hi.
Does anyone know of a warehouse, art space or such that would be available for renting for a private function about 200+ ppl? I am looking to hold a reception and don't want to just stick to the catering halls - tacky and bland. I need something different and would love to find something in my south brooklyn neighborhood.

are there any potential places in red hook that might work? the space would need to be available in about 9 to 10 months.

all suggestions are welcome!

How about the cavernous, multi-floors of BWAC gallery space down at the end of Van Brunt, directly across the street from Fairway?
