I totally want a piece of the Trivial Pursuit action, but not tonight dear. :P
I'm not really a Scrabble person, but I'm so down with all other card and board games. How about a nice game of Gin while drinking ... gin? Sadly, my own boardgame collection is very lame. I do own a linguistics-based boardgame but I think I'll wait before breaking this one out. Basically, it's the nerdiest boardgame ever. It's the kind of game you only introduce to people you've known a long time. And they still end up making fun of you. -

i would happily volunteer for this. i will haul all the choice cuts down, as long as someone buys me a beer. 8)
Depends on what ya have - good music = beer, old school music = a shot and beer 8) -
Like daveb, I think I'm sitting this one out--but next week should be good. I reserve the right to change my mind and show up.
-
Next week for me too. Got too much work this particular Wednesday . :x

I'll bring my cribbage board and maybe Spite & Malice as well and Mexican train dominos! But we need a large table for that game.
I also have Boggle, dominoes, cribbage, and Pente.
If anyone has Pictionary, that person is my new best friend. Best drunk game ever. -

OMG, I used to have to play that game every Sunday afternoon with my mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. (My great-grandmother cheated, too.) I never understood why anyone under the age of 80 would be interested in it. AHHHHHHHHH! *runs away screaming* -

What you really got to be worried about is when I break out the Moses pants! -

I'm an idiot, I know. But what are jesus pants? -
Now I'm REALLY confused. :?

I like to name my pants after Judeo-Christian figures. It helps me keep it real. -

Ahhh!! OK. Real is good, very good. Especially when it comes to menswear. :P -
Carnivore wrote: It will all be revealed here.
You know, I wish I knew about that sooner. It really has given me certain insights to this board that I did not have before. Thank you Carnivore for releasing me from my bonds of darkness, confusion and ignorance.

Who's gonna fly the banner that the DHers can rally to?

My Jesus pants died for your drinking habits. -

As long as it wasn't ME, I'm happy. -

I don't know if Andy's coming with the "Where's the Beef" button, but I'll show up at 6:30 and park my derelict ass in the back garden. If i can think of some identifying attire or characteristic, I'll post it on the board tomorrow morning. But honestly, just look for the shifty, skinny drunk with glasses, mouthing off to whoever will listen and you've likely found me -
I'll try to come by, but I can't drink tomorrow night because I've got to work at 11pm.
Thus, I'll be the wuss with the ginger ale! :x -
I want to come by, but I have an appointment after work, so it'll likely be later than 6:30.
-
I'll be there, with Oiseau's knife.
-
EmilyM wrote: I'll be there, with Oiseau's knife.
EmilyM - if you cross her, she cut you.
I'll be there, but not until 7:30. Short, round-hipped, white girl.
Howdy, Stranger!
