Shit. I picked up the phone, read this post, then tried to answer the phone without busting out laughing. The result was a lot of deep breathing on my part. The caller probably thinks that instead of reaching a corporate investment bank he hit redial and that 1-900 number came up again. :P -
Like I said, I'll be there with cribbage. Have cribbage board will travel. Any cribbage players be there at 6:30 or earlier if you want. Let me know.
-
If I bring left-over cupcakes tonight, will someone eat them?

"Is a frog's ass watertight?"
(I'm going to try to swing by for a drink or four, but I have a dinner appointment at 8:30 or so...) -
cupcake, i would love to eat your left over!
i so much wanted to taste it when we were manning the table.. -
Mr. M and I will be around with Oiseau's knife and Medusa's cupcake plate around 7:30 or 8.
-
Am I a huge loser for wanting to bring my backgammon board? All this talk of cribbage and Mexican train dominos is making it feel left out. If we were at Sepia this would be taken care of.
Are there any other huge losers who will challenge my awesomeness at some Gammon? -

I've been thinking, "Oisea's knife...?! Is that anything like Occam's Razor?!" My remedial math skills finally kicked in, I was able to put 2 and 2 together, and I realized that it was a reference to the bake sale... -

That awesomeness was me.

Bring it.
I'll be there from 7ish to 10ish. -
Will there be any babies warming up the place at 6:30? Jyothi is bothering me to take her to the weekly happy hour. Her new word is bar.

I'm not sure, but I've been known to behave in a rather juvenile manner and once the beers get flowing I get downright infantile.

I'll be there sometime between 8:30 and 8:45, unless I sustain some weird, magic-circle related injury. see y'all then!

I love backgammon., but I play it more violently than air hockey. -
I'm running slightly late, but should get there shortly after 6:30. For those of you who're going to their first DH event and don't know anyone,I'll be in jeans with and brown and tan patterned shirt, glasses and dark hair. I answer to Dave or "Hey fuckface".

I'm an idiot, I know. But what are jesus pants?
i always thought jesus wore a dress. so maybe its a skort? or coulottes?
i got my money on the skort though. -
Somebody needs to introduce you guys to the wonders of LOST!

Wait, are you suggesting that we should have stayed home and watched TV rather than get together? Sorry, I prefer the social interaction. Of course, we've got TiVo (<3!) so it's not a "choice" per se. -

I'll easily get addicted to an interesting storyline (be they books, movies, RPGs, or TV series), and for that reason I've been avoiding Lost- I've heard that it's crack for TV watchers. I can justify getting lost in a book for for 45 minutes, twice a day, when I'm commuting, but I typically don't keep track of more than 2 TV series per season. If a TV series DOES look interesting, but it doesn't make the cut, I'll consider buying it when it comes out on DVD.
So... is Lost, Season One out on DVD?!
-
I'd just like to say... Whoever shut me the hell up last night when I started ranting about spackling my testicles with crepes-Candissima, Cupcake-whoever it was, thanks. You did the right the thing. The Jesus pants just get me so excited...I gotta roll with it.
Also, I'd like to thank all the DH'ers that showed up last night for giving me the opportunity to prove what a gabby drunk I can be. -

Yes it is, my friend! RUN don't walk. -
Watched all of Lost season 1 last weekend, so good, and last night I also caught the season premier, and managed to throw back quick a few drinks at Soda. It felt good. Pleasure to meet those that I did.

I can't seem to find it on Netflix. I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't have it. If anyone finds it, send me a link because I just blew five minutes trying every god damn search string I could think of with no results. -
this should work...
