Suzie! I'm sorry I missed your birthday. I never get a chance to read the blog anymore. I just got a few minutes this morning and saw it was your birthday.

Morning Bloggers and Blog. Anthony was probably our partying last night.

I am worried about this tenant that is supposed to come from England and take my apartment.

I received a check for 5 months in advance.
Another guy also wrote from England, and I answered that it was being taken by someone else.

Now I got an email where the 2nd guy wants me to send him information so that he could have a check made out to me?? The word SCAM immediately popped into my mind. Now I am not sure if I should have deposited the first check!! I did say that I sent him an email saying it was not available !!!

So now I have to go to Craig's List and see if there are any Scam warnings, as well as go to the bank Monday to place some sort of guard in place.

Does that make sense??

Maybe I will call the bank 24 hour number instead of waiting for Monday.

Well, the only scam I can see is if I email the guy to tell him I deposited the check, and he asks me to refund the money. According to Craig's list, it could take weeks until they realize that the check is a fake. Then he would have the money I sent him !!! and I would not have the money from the check.
