Hi guys, hope all is well. May be you remember that about two weeks ago I heard about what had happened years ago to Tommy Reilly. Well, Tim Fox went to visit Tommy recently & I asked him to say hi for me. Tommy gave Tim his phone number for me to call him and I did & we had a good conversation. I tried to talk him in to joining the blog, but he seemed reluctant, although he did say he has a computer. In my conversation with Tommy (& with Tim) it's pretty evident that he doesn't get much in the way of any kind of socializing, I think that he is pretty much on his own and that's a shame, because he's always been a great guy. He gave me his address because I said I was going to mail him some pictures I have of him from back in the day. I don't feel that I can give out his address, but I thought that (& I spoke to Tim about this) maybe some of you would like send him a note or a card, just so he knows he's not forgotten. Maybe, if you'd like, you can include your e-mail address or whatever - perhaps he'd feel more comfortable about reaching out to people privately. My thought was that you could mail your cards or whatever to me (hopefully my e-mail address will be included with this post) and I will, in turn, mail them to Tommy. My hope is that maybe we can draw him out and get him onto the blog - you are such a compassionate bunch of people - I can't help but believe that this would be a blessing to him - no one should have to live an isolated existence. I think the blog angels need to spread their wings. Anyway, sorry that this has been such a long post, I just wanted to get your thought (& ideas) - let me know what you all think. Thanks, Loretta
