Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

I sent you and Franny a nice email a few minutes ago that I think you two would appreciate. Than I open up the blog after days of not being here, and THERE IS FRANNY!

ANTHONY UMBRIA: I just made one of Diana Bonavita's recipes. It was Linguini with Garlic, Oil, Anchioves and Bread Crumbs. DELICIOUS.

I have not had a dish of macaroni in a very long time. This past Friday, I was in the emergency room because I was vomiting for eight days straight. I thought I had the flu so I ignored it. Well, when I was about to faint, I went to the emergency room to find that I was dehydrated. I did not have the flu, but a mild complication to the lap-band I have in. Well, they fixed it and for a few days I CAN EAT WHATEVER I WANT (and probably as much as I want) until the band gets adjusted. HENCE, DIANA BONAVITA'S pasta was made and eaten with LOTS OF JOY !!!!!!

No joke, Franny, I was thinking about you last night. My husband and I attended a dinner to raise funds for an Animal Rescue center in Parkland, Florida. We donated to the little puppies who are rescued after being hurt. They NEVER put the precious animals to sleep............they just care for them forever. What a group of wonderful ladies. I'm going to try and help them on a monthly basis. What a nice cause and I'm not even a pet owner.

yes i am watching and playing scramble. The jerk bachelor is on late right at 10. He is really pissing me off. He might have gotten an offer to do what he did. LIKE more money to make another hour out of the bachelor. I am sure Melissa will be the next bachelorette.
