This is crazy..I really do not believe in that. Give the punishment to the kids that cause the trouble and if he was out sick why should he have to do it.

can they still do that isn't that called corporal punishment????

Not allowed to give major punishment assignments to children in school and he should take the problems up with the parents.

oh wait corporal punishment is hitting kids I think not assignments

Kevin said he gave this assignment to the kids who did 1 question on the practice regents wrong. He did it right!!!

THE SNEEZE

They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With their rich maroon gowns flowing .. and the traditional caps, they looked almost .. as grown up as they felt.

Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears.

This class would NOT pray during the commencements----not by choice, but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.

The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessin gs on the graduates or their families.

The speeches were nice, but they were routine.....until the final speech received a standing ovation.

A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened.

All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED!!!!

The student on stage.. simply looked at the audience and said,

'GOD BLESS YOU, each and every one of you!' And he walked off stage...

The audience exploded into applause. This graduating class had found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future with or without the court's approval.

Isn't this a wonderful story? Pass it on to all your friends.........and

LISTEN I KNOW IT IS NOT EASY BEING A TEACHER I SAW MY SON'S CLASS OUT OF CONTROL. MY FEELING IS U CAN OT PUNISH THE ENTIRE CLASS UNLESS U DON'T KNOW WHO THE RINGLEADER IS.
I TEACH CCD AND I HAVE GOOD CLASSES BUT THERE IS ALWAYS ONE THAT CAN DRIVE U CRAZY. IMAGINE TEACHING 20-30 KIDS A DAY AND A FEW DISRUPT THE CLASS. BUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT DON'T PUNISH THE ENTIRE CLASS..JUST MY 2 CENTS KNOWING MY KIDS ARE TEACHERS.

Terry......I'm sure these kids can drive these teachers nuts!!!! I give them alot of credit, but I think this is a little too much.

Im stalling ...I know! In Nicole's Class there are a few disruptive uncontrollable kids .....they ....do punish the whole class ....they cant go outside for lunch .....now they just punish the few bad ones.....by not letting them go on their Senior Trip

Im really not that bad! But, I just looked out the bedroom window....and they just took the pool cover off....now take 1 guess at who has to connect the filter and clean it ......??????????? 1 Guess

I don't think it's fair to punish them all. I know they're are a lot of disruptive kids in class but why should they all suffer.

Terry.....one night was 130, the next night was 90 and the next night was something like 122. Some kids were on their senior trip and he gave them til tuesday to do it. Then Friday he added another 120+ problems. That's just nuts!!!!

I WOULD TALK TO THE PRINCIPAL THAT IS TOO MUCH WORK FOR ONE NIGHT.....I WOULD BE UP THERE VERY NICELY AND TALK TO THE PRINCIPAL.
