francescaHey Deb - we can double date sometime. Grey & Jose.... We better not
mix.... :shaking2:
I can't believe I am back here.... even though i don't do farm-animals,
I better get a life ....or better get back to my life :-)
I just kept thinking of what Helen said and how many responded.
I realized it was appropriate to share an email I sent to
OUR SUZIE a little while ago. It's really all about inner-beauty and survival. And my brief encounter with a butterfly last week.
SUZIE, you understand the butterfly analogy for us - based on
our 'first meeting'
I've been meaning to write this to you for a week now. It was last Monday, 8/31 10:40 am. I was walking in the back of my yard; many trees back there.
I saw a butterfly on a low branch; it was magnificent! Then I realized that
its lower wings were torn, frayed - leaving uneven edges. My immediate
reaction was - Me & Suzie. I just got a strong sense of us....
As I approached her (butterfly) she tried to fly away... and she did.....
very slowly and vigoursly. It seemed to take some effort - but she took
flight. She greeted me again as I walked back to my house. Felt like
I was touched by something.
As I sat down to 'note' my experience. I realized that the butterfly had
the exact colors of my 'new transitioning hair." It was black and
copper-colored. I took a deep breath and then I almost cried.
Usually I cry; not this time.
The butterfly was damaged and she survived. Fluttering a little slower,
and still beautiful.
Amen!

debbie bonavita mccarthyFranny.......We can double date but never mix!!!! LOLOL That butterfly story got to me. My mother had these huge butterflies on the side of our house. Right after she died everyone of us.....including my Aunt Dee in Florida.....saw butterflies everywhere!!!! Now when I see them I can't help but see my mom. -

You mentioned the torn edges on the Butterflies wing.....well notice the brown
butterfly .....its wing broke off ....and I was gonna throw it out and I couldnt
so I glued the wing back on and its still as beautiful as the others!
Now, Im crying again!
