    Here's one for you,
"THE BROOKLYN FOX THEATER PROUDLY PRESENTS, MURRAY THE K AND HIS SWINGIN' SOIREE WITH A BLAST, FROM THE PAST, A GOLDEN OLDIE FOR YOU" and then the first act would come on. My older brother took me to one of the shows and we even got a free LP album. Do you remember those? Much bigger than a CD.
Does anyone remember Lauren or Susan Malaband ? (sp.)
    holy shit!
    did u bring me back!

DEB I BEEN READING THAT YOUR BROTHER IS LEAVEING. HERE IS A LOOK FROM THE OTHER SIDE. I SPENT MANY MONTHS AWAY FROM MY WIFE AND FAMILY TO SERVE OUR COUNTRY. BUT WHAT HURT ME THE MOST WAS WHEN MY DAUGHTER'S (ONE YEAR APART) AND VERY YOUNG AT THE TIME I SERVED, THEY WOULD GRAB ONTO MY LEGS AND NOT LET GO AND START CRYING, AND DURING MY 20 YEARS IT HAPPEND ALOT. SO WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MUST BE STRONG, BECAUSE ALL HE IS GOING TO REMEMBER IS THAT MOMENT HE SAID GOOD BY TO YOU AT THE DOOR. I WISH HIM WELL. ANTHONY M

    true story
there was a girl in the neighborhood nobody liked
the kids felt compelled to pick on and bully her
the girl didnt care cause she didnt like herself much either
there were a hand ful of kids that talked to her and were friendly
the girl grew up and slowly watched the kids around her block
get older get into drugs and some died some got sick
and the girl became a mom at a young age raised a family became
an adult still dealing with not liking her life but living for her children and being the best mom she could be not having a good role model
as an adult the girl got some insight into why she didnt like herself
and why she allowed herself to be bullied... she started liking herself just wee bit and accepted the incidents leading upto why she felt the way she did
as she met up with some of the kids that used to bully her
the kids now adults themselves actually apologized to the girl
and liked the girl... and she nevewr forgot the handful of kids the accepted her for who she was and will never forget them

moral of this stoy if you see someone you dont quite understand
that doesnt mean you pick on them get to know who the are and accept the difference between you and go on with your life

Thanks Anthony.......Thank God he has no children yet. Him and his wife will be married 2 years this month. When he left for boot camp 4 years ago we all cried and he yelled at us!!! lol So this time, even though the circumstances are worse, we have to be strong for him. Thanks for the advice, it always helps to here it from both sides.

WOW!!! That happened alot when we were kids. My Mom always said Don't judge a book by its cover" I neve do and don't and even as a kid go along with what people say abut others I jdge for myself, If that person turns out tobe like they said WELL AT LEAST I LEARNED ON MY OWN AND NOT THE WORD OF OTHERS. (I taught my kids the same way an that is why my kid have friends of all color, personalities, gay not gay, white, black, etc etc.) Life is too short too take time and gossip and judge others)
