Hi Guys, been way from the blog and miss it. Working on spring sports schedules with the athletic director at the military academy. We finished fall and winter but still a few more spring sports to go.
Jeanette- I can finally breathe knowing you are safely home.

Judy-I love your new picture but it still does not do total justice to that beautiful face of yours.

Festina- you too. Still waiting for a new pic.
Terry- you too. Need a front view of that face on here.

I want to know that if any outsiders visit our blog they will walk away knowing that
South Brooklyn has the prettiest ladies.

Geri- I guess if the doctors don't solve the problem today, you will do it your way like you told me. Sometimes these guys use trial & error at our expense. Get well.

i know but i can not change my photo it is me and my cousin Donnie who passed right after the reunion. plus everyone knows what i look like
It kind of reminds me of how u don't know from day to day what life will bring when I look at that photo.

Debbie - my prayers and love go out to you for Nicky - we'll keep him in our prayer circle and know that he'll be safe. Like Fran - please tell him I said THANK YOU - because of him I can travel more safely and live more easily knowing that he and the other brave men and women are watching over all of us. No small feat.

Festina- I realized on the ride home that when I was telling you about going to Puerto Rico with Chickie you thought I was talking about Chickie Boy Aversano who was an incredible human being. I was talking about Chickie Ligouri who is Camille Ligouri Green's younger brother.

Hi Geri, Hope you're feeling much better! My mom used to live in Holiday about 10 yrs. ago, wish we knew each other then, she loves to meet friends from the old neighborhood. I'll let you know when I come down, maybe next spring. Are your kids up north or in FL?

I read a post of yours from a few days ago. Sal DiLeo the barber! I remember his family well. They were our neighbors on 24 Street in the 70's.He was such a nice man and I was friends with his deceased son, Junior. All the girls on 24 street were crazy for Junior. I remember Tommy too. I saw him in Coney Island last year. I remember Tommy's bike and he used to love to listen to the radio.

yeah, uncle sal was a sweet man, besides being a published poet and having a daily commentary colume in the "il progresso" italian newspaper. when he visited italy from america, the government used to hav a big celebration and parade to welcome him. he was pretty famous there.

oh junie! (my cousin sal after my uncle) yup, a hottie all right! he married linda and had two boys. she's doin well. a heart-throb for sure may he RIP.

a funny story about junie and my cousin baby anet...
they both used to hang out in charlie brown's on 5th ave. well, one day anet goes in and dis guy comes on to her. an immediate attraction. they start talking, and ask names.
lo and behold they shared the same one! even tho one spelled it DeLeo, and the other DiLeo they found out they were cousins - and, well, hmmm, too bad! lol

he was gorgeous!

thanks danny - he was pretty special to us too - like my brother. a day didn't pass by without chickey in the house.

Hey there cous! Wow, I got the flu shot yesterday and was up late in pain, better today. Since the wk. end, I've been on the phone constantly but I'm ready to take it easy and lie low for awhile, too much stress with the death and moving my office, too much. Thanks for thinking of me, take care and love your poems and your work in photo shop!!!
