MY SONS FIRST APPLE I TOOK THE INSURANCE OUT NO MATTER WHEN WHAT TIME THEY ALWAYS TOOK CARE OF US. THEN.........IF U HAVE A PROBLEM U CALL THEY DOCUMENT IT ALL THE TIME AND IF THE PROBLEM IS MORE THAN 3 TIMES GUESS WHAT NEW COMPUTER. I KNOW FOR A FACT MY SON GOT a new computer after 2years and the new version of the lap top.

A brand new Acer (made by Gateway) runs about $500. I bought one a few months ago. They may be cheaper right now since people are buying less.
