edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
Join us for an evening of music, inspiration and a toast of L’chaim! As we come unite together under the stars (actually evergreen) to celebrate the holiday Sukkot Brooklyn Style.

As part of our evening’s lineup we have included a most unique individual – ELAD BARMATZ who served in one of the elite Israeli Army special reconnaissance team as was the leader of a extraordinary undercover anti terror unit. Elad will share his inspirational personal tale and life’s journey living life on the “lip”.

The night will also feature live music, lots of refreshments and shared tales of sukkot of yesteryear, all in our very own ornately decorated Sukkah.

We encourage everybody with a musical instrument to bring it with and share together in this holiday affectionately called “JOY”. And please, do feel free to bring a friend, partner or spouse so they can all share in this unique experience together.

Date: Thursday October 20th
Location: 603 St Johns Pl. Prospect Heights, Brooklyn (bet Classon & Franklin Ave’s)
Time: 7:30 PM
Please R.S.V.P. Or for more information please contact us. [email protected] or (347) 277-690

  • This is interesting. Rabbi Ari of St. Johns Place sent us this picture of the guest of honor.

  • I have also noticed a small group of Orthodox Jews who approached me on Rosh Hashanah and asked me if I was Jewish then again on Sukkah. It amazes me because for 10 years I lived in Boro Park and no one there ever bothered to even say hello to me.

I get that all the time walking home from the Eastern Parkway and Grand Army stops.
  • why is this a sticky, again?
  • Its a sticky because the Rabbi says so and he answers to a higher authority :D:D:D:D:D:D
  • sounds like the Lubavitch sect...they are ususally the only jewish sects that prosthelytize. ex: the Mitzvah Tank.
  • Where does the hookah come into play? I love to sukkot from a hookah!
