Hookah in the Sukkah Brooklyn 2005
Join us for an evening of music, inspiration and a toast of L’chaim! As we come unite together under the stars (actually evergreen) to celebrate the holiday Sukkot Brooklyn Style.
As part of our evening’s lineup we have included a most unique individual – ELAD BARMATZ who served in one of the elite Israeli Army special reconnaissance team as was the leader of a extraordinary undercover anti terror unit. Elad will share his inspirational personal tale and life’s journey living life on the “lipâ€ÂÂ.
The night will also feature live music, lots of refreshments and shared tales of sukkot of yesteryear, all in our very own ornately decorated Sukkah.
We encourage everybody with a musical instrument to bring it with and share together in this holiday affectionately called “JOYâ€ÂÂ. And please, do feel free to bring a friend, partner or spouse so they can all share in this unique experience together.

I have also noticed a small group of Orthodox Jews who approached me on Rosh Hashanah and asked me if I was Jewish then again on Sukkah. It amazes me because for 10 years I lived in Boro Park and no one there ever bothered to even say hello to me.
