  • I remember your post about the pup. So maybe the owner meant to let the poor thing get away? Curious to know how he's doing.
By the way Obamanut, if I could, I'd change my screen name to Obamarama or Obamafevah; I seem to be suffering from an acute case of the illness.
  • Subject: NEED A FOSTER!

OK, it's time for me to call on you guys again. I finally heard back from the Mayor's Alliance, and our little fella needs a foster home. He's not moving much, and basically needs crate rest, food, and love -- probably somewhere without too many big, bouncing dogs, then, or a place with an extra room (yeah right, around here?) where he could rest.
    Here's the email:
    Nicky

We really need a foster for him asap, he’s getting ancy in there and they need him out now that he’s had his surgery. Do you know of anyone who can foster him. He is really laid back and we really need a foster home for him that can give him rest. Thanks.

Any takers, please, please send me a message!

  • Subject: Try the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network

The BAFN may have some foster homes. Here is the website:

What a cutie, by the way!
  • Subject: BAFN

I've actually been in touch with Laurie, the director of the BAFN, today, and I think she's going to take the little guy tomorrow and keep him in her doggie spa / day care place until she can find him a foster parent or two. I'm so glad... and he'll be back in Brooklyn! I think he should be some kind of mascot for the kindness and concern of Brooklynian!
  • Crazy, I just got a message from the Mayor's Alliance...
Believe it or not we have someone in brooklyn who really wants to adopt him. She is a writer who is home almost all the time. This just happened late this afternoon. I apologize for not emailing you but I wanted to wait to see how the meet and greet went. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks.
