Ditto! I'm just now watching all of it on Keith Olbermann's show - thank gawd for people like Dennis!

isn't this just a little late? I mean, yay and all, but jeez louise, you gotta wait til the final hour to try to oust the fucker? boring.

Mostly because they finally have an eyewitness to testify ( Scott McClellan) as to the truth and nature of all this, since any other prior efforts would have been thwarted by Bush administration illegally shredding any and all evidence.

yeah, but still. if the guy has to write a fuckin' book for them to figure out they have a witness it means no one was looking for a witness.

for the record, I'm all for impeaching the asshat - I just think this is all a giant publicity stunt in anticipation of november that could get real ugly or just fizzle out and be teh useless.

Maybe, but it's also a time when the lame-duck President is at his weakest, especially as fewer people (^COUGH! except McCain! ^COUGH!) are looking to stand by him with each passing month, being political creatures themselves.

and i think the benefit of impeachment is the mark upon his presidency in the history books. won't change anything now but will definitely taint his history.
