There were times I couldn't take Marilyn with us because she would report back to MOTHER !!! ha ha ha ha ha.
But, she did go to a Washington DC protest with me once when Bob took us with St. John's University and we had to sleep on the floor of an empty frat building.. -

I used to sneak off of 17st and go hang out on 23 st .....and my little sister would sneak behind all the cars following me ....then report back to my Mom.....and Fat Jimmy felt sorry for me.....and would watch out for my sister ....and say ...hey Suzie ....your shadow is following you !

SUZIE, I CAN RELATE. I HUNG ON THE CORNER OF 22ND ST AND 7TH AVE, THERE WAS AN ALLEYWAY THERE. MY GRANDMOTHER SOMETIMES AFTER VISITING THE GAGLIARDI'S (THEY LIVED DOWN THAT BLOCK) WOULD COME LOOKING FOR ME ON THE CORNER TO SEE WHAT WE WERE UP TO. MY FRIENDS WOULD SHOUT CONNIE MIELE COMING AND I WOULD HIDE IN THE ALLEYWAY LOL THISE WERE THE FUN DAYS

the same thing here ....they used to say ....Sue your Mom is coming ...and she isnt smiling......one day we ducked into the abandoned apartment above 24st & 5th ave......and to prove what kind of nut I was back then....I said to my Girlfriends...wow ...this is a cute apt....lets clean it!!!
