I like the snow, but not if I am stuck indoors.

I am on the mountain and it stinks if I can't get out. I bought a loaf of bread 2 days ago, and when I went out yesterday, the dogs grabbed it and ate the whole loaf, lol. That's one of the staples you buy if you can't get out to the store.

sneer in my direction
You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman' ... and
that's OK.
But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey,
Beaner,
Gook, or Chink ... You call me a racist. You say that whites commit a lot of
violence against you.. so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to
live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day
You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.. You have Yom
Hashoah.
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have the NAACP. You have BET...
If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists.
If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists
If we had White History Month, we'd be racists
If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives we'd be
racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and
then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce
Wonder who pays for that??
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color
can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...You
know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US
Yet if there were 'White colleges' That would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race
and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid
to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer
shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the
law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud...But you call me a racist
Why is it that only whites can be racists?? -

JUST got off the cruise ship and back have so much to catch up on. Now i say this when people say Oh on a vacation again YES YES YES, I am spending my kids inheritance and after reading my emails some of them. OH BOY What the hell is going on. Debbie I know about and have been praying and you WILL be fine. This blog is God"s Intervention. Debbie you are proof of that. You would still be at Habibs office waiting for results.
I have so much to read. When I left it was on page 151 I have to catch up. All i can say is I am enjoying life as much as I can. Too much bad news everyday. What Happened to Joanies son. i knew Johnny well. My sister Lori Jean was friends with him when they were kids. Oh God Please help her, so much tragedy in her life. I love u Joanie... Love Terry

UPDATE ON WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING
Hi Terry,
Welcome Back!!! Don’t go crazy…I know there must be over a hundred pages since you left. I will try and give you an update on what has been going on.
First off….Patsy, Janet, Carol, Suzie and I have been on some nights till very early in the morning… Most of it was just fun stuff. . We have been talking about everything from food to horses…… So there are probably 70 pages of just us girls having fun!!!!!!
First the bad news:
Joanie Calciano’s son John passed away November 17th. He had a heart attack.
Debbie Bonavita – She went for a CT scan, they found something under the mastoid bone in her neck. We are all praying for her. UPDATE: She found out she has a tumor under the mastoid bone in her neck. She will probably need to have surgery. This is called schwannoma and is usually benign. Our prayers are with her.
Festina Guzzo – They found out that her mom has cancer. Going for tests to see where the cancer is. We are all praying for her.
My mom (Lorraine) – Went for some tests because they saw a spot in the middle of her
chest. We will get the results next week. We are all praying for her.
Bruce Zitellis – I think he was from 20th street between 6th and 7th Avenues. He was in a car accident and was on life support. Unfortunately he passed away on November 19th.
Well we sure have been doing a lot of praying on this blog.
Now for some happier news.
Suzie B – She is looking for a man on a horse lol lol (we will fill you in later)
Anthony U, Ralph, Bob and Dan – They always come around when we need them. We feel bad because most of the time there are only a few woman on the blog.
Anthony U – Had a birthday while you were gone (Nov. 19th)…..he also went to the doctors and received a clean bill of health…… that was very nice to hear……
Old Goat – He hasn’t been around much at all.
Annemarie Walton – Haven’t heard from too much…..we miss her!!!!!!!
Millie and Geri – They are the early birds of the blog and it’s always so nice to hear from them.
Karen, Lynjoy, Chrissy, Marilyn, Frannie, Lizzie and Francesca – All pop in once in a while just to say hello and always has a great story to tell.
My sister Laura – She even came on, she wanted to find out what people thought about a front load or top load washing machine. Never did find out what she bought….
We have someone new on the blog (celerystix)– Patty Staszak/Spinelli - She came from 22nd Street and 5th Avenue……. Hello Patty!!
I apologize if I left anyone out.
Well Terry hope you enjoyed your trip. We missed you!!!!.
